RMATVC Work Party 09-25

This post is to inform you all of a work party that is happening this coming Sunday, Sept.25,2022 @ 9:00 AM. This will be to move & place the big pile of rocks that is by the side of the road on the Isthmus Road in front of the so-called Crane Bridge. There will be a tractor & side by side with a trailer for moving the rock. If attending, you should probably bring a rake and/or shovel for spreading the rock once it is place in the middle of the trail. At this time, I don’t have any other means of notifying people of this work party, so if you read this, whether you come or not, would you please pass it around to others!!
Thanks

Hello snowmobilers! Here is a little club update.

This season we will be holding our meetings in Byron at the old fire station. We are ironing out the dates and will let you know soon.

Membership packets will be mailed within a couple weeks to those who joined our club last season.

Our Tucker has been in Vermont all summer getting repairs. We had electrical issues all last season causing us some real headaches. Our total repair and preventative maintenance estimate is $10,000. We plan to do our own pm on the tractor. We will discuss dates at the meetings for this.

We plan to excavate a section of the twin mountain trail. Ice forms on the steepest section of this trail making it very dangerous and sometimes ungroomable. A bridge re-deck will be done on this trail as well. We will also be putting gravel on the hill coming out of coos canyon headed towards JR’s trail.

Signing and brushing work parties will be planned for this fall. Stay tuned for more info on these.

Please note that our family membership fee has increased $5 and is now $35. With added costs to everything and to make the rate more consistent with our other membership rates the club voted to make this increase at the last meeting in April. We hope you understand and we really appreciate all the support. If you’re interested in joining online you can visit our website roxburysno.com

We had a great meeting

We had a great meeting tonight but we were missing a few valued members.
We have scheduled another meeting for September 19, at 6:00 pm to vote in new officers.
It is important for everyone to come to this meeting in order to make this transition. We have nominations on the table and it’s important that you all come to this one or you may just find yourself nominated and voted in to be a new officer…😎
In all seriousness we need you all to come out and vote
and to bring this much loved club into a great future for us all!
We look forward to seeing you all on Monday the 19th.
Cheers.

Hi everyone.

Hi everyone. I was on the Falls trail yesterday and noticed a tree has come over the trail from a mud slide on the hillside. I didn’t have a chainsaw. It will probably need to be cut because it will eventually be laying on the ground across the trail.
The new bridge looks great…thank you to whomever worked on that.

Rumford Riders ATV Meeting & Election of Officers

We will be having free dogs and some sausages subs before our meeting on Monday, Sept 5,2022. Meeting will start around 6:00 or whenever our bellies are full. We also have free Chips. All left over from our spectacular ride last month. We have water and coffee & if you want anything to drink other than that, you’ll need to bring it. We have some important stuff to talk over and we will be nominating officers for the up coming year. I am asking everyone that is reading this to spread the word that this is an important meeting and everyone should be there. If you’re not there you could possibly be an officer at the end of the meeting. I am telling everyone that I will not be an officer after the end of this year and maybe not after this meeting is done. I haven’t decided that yet. See ya all there. Happy motoring !!
